Please note that at the moment there are road closures affecting the Club. Harlow Moor Road is closed between Otley Road and valley Drive. Valley Drive is one way down towards Harrogate. Members need to used Cornwall Road. To monitor the roads closed and roadworks around the club please use the NYCC website and use their roadworks map for updated road closures.

Yorkshire are the Over 60's National County Champions, beating Nottingham by 20 shots. Congratulations to Steve Webster and David Spilsbury who represented the Club in the final in Nottingham.

9iCongratulations to the 2019/20 Singles Champions Cameron Legate and Helen Walker. Commiserations to the runners-up Steve Webster and Angela Spilsbury. Both matches finally took place on Friday and produced some fantastic bowling. In the Ladies match Angela came from 8-16behind to lead 20-19 with Helen winning on the last end 21-20. What a final!

At long last, Angela Spilsbury will be representing the Club at the English National Championships in both the Over 60 singles and along with her husband David, in the family pairs too. Jean Lamb and Helen Walker will also be there playing the Over 60's pairs. They have waited a long time to play these games and we wish them all the very best of luck.

Defibrillator familiarisation sessions have been arranged at the Club on the following dates Friday 24th September 6.30pm Sunday 3rd October 2.00pm Wednesday 6th October 3.00pm These sessions are for those members who have previously attended a session and for those members who would like to know how to use it. If interested please sign up at the Club. The Club needs as many people as possible to be able to operate the defibrillator. You never know who might need your help!!!

Volunteers are urgently required to man the reception desk and to act as a back up to the main receptionist. Either individuals or a team are needed. Please see the list on the board just inside the door. This season we are also looking for volunteers (both male and female) are also to help with the catering. You can choose the date and the people you'd like to be with. Please see the notice on the "Social Events" board.
